You can use service discovery tools like Consul or Etcd. Basic idea that on container/app boot, you register your app to service discovery service (you give it IP and current port), and it stores information about your all running apps

Yeah, worth mentioning https://tyk.io too. Also, do not forget about Quotas which usually comes along with Rate limits. Modern API gateways can handle so many stuff for you and help with API scaling.

If you found a similar mistake in your repository, you can delete commit from history using: `git rebase --onto <commit-id>^ <commit-id>`. Or if you want actually rewrite it, see git rebase -i` documentation.
