There was me, scanning away trying to find actual technical reasons and then... Bang. It's political. Opinion discarded.

Yeah, but you've got to admit, the baddies are always dressed better. That's got a serious Hugo Boss aesthetic.

Think of the fun you could have in the workplace with a pair of these.

Never thought it could be the monitor. I have an HP dock with an HP laptop for work and it's totally unreliable waking from sleep. My chances of getting new monitors are slim in this climate but it's a new avenue of investigation

I stopped buying consoles after the PS3 and the PS Vita, with the exception of an Anbernic Cube XX. Nowadays if I game at all it's PS1 and SNES classics on the Cube XX.

I had this idea myself a few years back for less grubby, more subversive purposes. But, typical me, I never followed through with it.

For me, the Atari ST, the Commodore +/4, the Commodore 64 etc. I am saddened that the Dragon 32 never made it onto the silver screen.

At work, yeah, fine I guess. Outside of work? No way. And I don't mind being called a Luddite, I know what I am.

I remember when Amazon did something similar with the kindle maybe a decade ago, I was livid. I vowed never to own a Kindle and bought a Kobo and installed Koreader on it. I hear this today, and now I just shrug. I'm past caring and I

The OG live distro. This thing saved my butt on multiple occasions. I haven't even thought about it in a decade. I feel a bit bad about that.

I don't think many people realize how far ahead the Archimedes was at the time. I got to borrow one from school for the entire summer holidays - a friend and I manhandled the beast to my house - and I spent six glorious weeks with it.

I'm not a greenie by any stretch of the imagination but I'm a strong believer in Repair, Re-use, Recycle. I'm writing this comment on a Lenovo Yoga I bought for $10 and fixed up. It's a quad core with 4GB of soldered RAM

There's also a subreddit for international pen friends for adults. It jives with their fountain pen subreddit pretty well.

Gaming is more than viable on a Linux PC these days. I'm using CachyOS with a PS2 controller or mouse and keyboard. I had to do virtually zero tinkering.

Why does it have to be a Mac Mini? I use a repurposed HP Elitedesk 800 Mini from a decade ago for OpenClaw and it works just fine. Cost me maybe $50 US.

It's like managing a team of 6-8 year olds. Put that down! What are you doing? Don't put that in your mouth. Where are you going? Stop that! Why are you sitting there alone, Johnny?
