Personally, I only have success with coding agents if it's for filling in some design I already engineered and half-implemented (like added interfaces and method declarations for example) I feel like this is the best way to condition t

I would love for the omarchy shell to be distro-agnostic, just some dotfiles and binaries you can copy to whatever distro if you have all of the required software

Honestly same, BUT if those 8M go towards financing Linux desktop projects I'm all for it.

I heard about omarchy a while ago but didn't think it was this big ! I am proudly a Bazzite user, and honestly I think for the average end user an immutable atomic distro is better, but more money to the Linux desktop is always a win

For some research I looked up some very old Reddit threads a couple of days ago. And, Oh my god, you can actually see how this style of writing influenced AI writing today, I constantly had to remind myself: "this was posted before Cha

I encountered a BTRFS filesystem corruption today, nothing too heavy, it got recovered by a repair (even tough I don't know what caused it, memtest is clean and ssd is also clean), but while researching about it I was surprised to see

Hi since you are here, I find tangled amazing and I really hope it succeeds. Since you are here, do you have any updates about the issue of issues and PRs living in the author's PDSs and not on the knot ? (Which also acts as the reposi

While private repos are usefull, I do not think that is tangled's main proposal at all. I am just thinking you do not like tangled because you don't use the social features of github and so don't see the point here. I can und

Oh I meant that as part of tangled, you can "control" your issues and PRs because they are on ATProto and just like any ATProto record can be hosted on any PDS you like and still be interoperable. But after looking a bit more into

I don't think you understood. You can still get a feature complete social experience that is NOT ISOLATED from anyone. Your GitHub Enterprise comparison is wrong, because with an onprem github entreprise you don't have the social

The difference with GitHub is you can also use it if the main instance is down if you self host. (And again self hosting still gets you the interconnection benefits just like if everyone was on tangled.org)

What does "forcing" mean here ? If you want to build an alternative Knot implementation (git Hosting) you can use anything as long as the API is compatible ? Same for all of the parts of Tangled really Also, even if it's down

I really hope more people would use Tangled ( https://tangled.org/ ) You get: - Self hosting your git hosting (if you want) - Self hosting your issues/PRs (if you want) - Self hosting your CI (if you want)

Use Tangled ! https://tangled.org/ It's a social network with github-like social features and git hosting, but you can still self host your git and have all the features like issues, PRs and so on just like GitHub. And

Living in France, right now the only kind of spam calls I am getting are prerecorded voice loops. I admit they are done pretty well, it took 2-3 different calls (accross months) for me to notice I wasn't talking to a real person !

I feel like it's the best ATProto architecture explanation on the web. I hope it will make people who argue that "there are no instances in ATProto" is wrong, understand that it is actually true and not just a naming debate.
