Before computerization of the finance industry, banks used to keep stashes of "ransom money" with all serial numbers already recorded so they could be tracked to some extent. This is no longer necessary as modern money handling eq

Recipes are usually not copyrightable as they are just a list of ingredients and instructions with no room for expression. I wonder if the same argument could be applied to prompts.

Wait, was Pretty Sammy actually a parody of its genre? Granted I have not seen it again on more than 20 years, but I have always remembered it as a magical girl show played straight.

Mobile games live and die by aggressive marketing. With conversion ratio in the single digit, it's not uncommon for half of their operating costs to be advertising. And then you add the actual housekeeping and R&D on top of that...

When people speak of RTS games, they are actually referring to StarCraft-like real time tactic simulators with optional unit production and resource gathering components. The titles developed by Paradox may not be turn based, but they have

Before modern bankruptcy laws, it was common for people who owe a lot of money to go to debtor's prison (and this still happens in some parts of the world with more archaic legal systems). At a glance it may seem contradictory since lo

Legend has it that some of the disposable cameras had curved film planes to, uh, take advantage of the abundant spherical aberration and astigmatism. I'm sure this lens need something like that too.

Once you stop caring about image quality, the f-stop of a lens is only fundamentally constrained by the physical diameter and diopter of the lens. I suspect the f/2.5 figure is only being held back by the size of the lens barrel and ap
