Hard disagree. You’re forgetting the long tail of consumer-only usecases. That’s like saying owning a computer without basic programming knowledge seems pointless. Obviously 3D printers are useful even if you never create or modify 3D model

Google has been completely infuriating over the last few years. It’s email. They hide the forward and reply all behind multiple clicks. Where is the Subject? CC? BCC? I get that grandpa and grandma benefit from removing some extra functiona

Same here. I get MDM profile updates from IT on my work machine. One time they auto-installed a cloud backup service and sent out a company-wide email after they already did it. Something like: “Now nobody has to deal with lost data. You’re

I am amazed at the level of R&D & economies of scale with vaporizers. The tech in these - high-power electronics, computer controlled heating profiles etc is quite sophisticated. Societal evils aside, this could be a very precise dr

Does it have to do with what kind of market iOS/macOS can access vs Android? I don’t know the numbers here. But I would assume, part of the pull is that people consider Apple products to be luxury items. Hence maybe this is attractive

One bit of advice for your post: Talk a bit more about your business model - where the funds are coming from etc. It is coming for your customers (other businesses) or their customers (the shoppers)? I understand Stripe is keeping money you

One thing that's always blown me away about the TouchWheel iPod and the original iPhone is the mountain of design/engineering work beneath a very simple user experience. It's what competitors found hard to replicate when thes

(5120 * 2880) / (3840 * 2160) = 1.77 Since they are both the same aspect ratio (16:9) you can also take the ratio of one linear dimension and square it to get the area ratio. So: (5120/3840)^2 = (2880/2160)^2 = 1.777

Well it’s for other things than just telling you what time it is. You could have a GPS that is far more precise. Or a altimeter that detects height changes based on gravitational time-dilation. There are tons of things you can build on top

This is interesting from a product angle. Apple has historically not supported running macOS on VMs very well. A few years back I built the vm infrastructure for a CI/CD platform for iOS and macOS app developers. It wasn’t easy to do t
