Nope, it’s definitely an SSD, no HDD. I think the bloat of the window installation does not help either.

I tried to use WSL but it didn’t quite work then like two months ago with the RubyMine 2021 edition. I am getting a full Linux client next week (same hardware), hopefully that should work better.

CLOUD ACT is the problem. Even for data stored outside the US, authorities can demand access to data. This is why for example in the EU you are a customer of AWS SARL in Luxembourg instead of AWS Inc.

Just skimmed it, looks useful, with mentioning keypair I'm assuming they use RSA keys or something similar. Why the choice for asymmetric encryption?
