I don't think they had issues making money, they had issues hitting unrealistic growth targets being set by their overlords. This was discussed on the most recent Nextlander podcast. Nextlander being 3 of the Giant Bomb OGs.

I switched from official Fedora images when I got sick of dealing with nonfree stuff like codecs and nvidia drivers. They have much more lightly modified images that are better as a base to build on. I use https://github.com&#x2F

From what I've read most PHEVs tend to have really bad batteries that are unreliable, complicated and expensive to replace. It makes sense that they cut corners when there's a whole other powertrain to mask it.
