The Android client has just got a complete rewrite that's made it better than its iOS counterpart (I use both regularly). However, it's still in beta and only available to Plex Pass users until the final release. There's also an app for Sam

Given that this doesn't support ELBs yet and you'll need to roll your own load balancer with HAProxy, there's nothing stopping websockets from working.

You are correct, you could do almost exactly the same thing in "the whole shitty PHP way of doing things" using FPM pools.

I sometimes use the title ironically. I tried using "Senior Webmaster" as my title on Linkedin for a while and still had recruiters messaging me.

Just tried this for my project, the alerting looks like it will be most valuable to me. Hopefully I can stop monitoring my saved Twitter search and just use this.

I presume something like this is only useful for services like Heroku where you can't set it in your webserver directly?

https://commando.io/ serves up your PHPMyAdmin. Edit: also, because of HSTS I can only visit your "secure" site and can no longer get to your marketing page to see what it is you do.

They're not caching any of their static resources, that might explain the amount of bandwidth use Dotcom is apparently seeing. Edit: They're not gzipping any of the 2.5MB in static resources either. I realise that probably doesn't impact th

This isn't the 1983 or the BBC, it's 2013 and a niche news aggregator powered by its readers. If you just want stories that are big enough to be picked up by the BBC, read that instead.
