I am not sure about this exploit but what can be done is you can send a Class type over the wire. It contains Java bytecode and when de-serialized it will use some ClassLoader to construct the Class instance. While doing that the static in

IPFS dev here. We are quite close to having git being hosted directly on IPFS/IPLD. Things like pushing and cloning work. Example workflow: git push ipld:: <prints out CID of that commit which has 1:1 mapping to hash of th

Sealing part of the Proof of Replication will in big part require disk IO and won't be possible to do in parallel so ASIC or FPGA won't help you much.

There is Bumblebee that works on Linux as a replacement for Nvidia Optimus, getting it working isn't trivial but Nvidia is to blame here not Linux.

If I may ask, how did you made Travis take your money? We wanted to pay them (as an OSS project) for faster and more reliable builds for a long time but they always refused.

It is probably to differentiate motherboards. You don't want the consumer to plug in Epyc into Threadripper's mobo and complain that there is not enough PCI-E lanes or memory channels.

Salsa20 and ChaCha20 are faster on modern hardware than built-in AES instructions. AES is just old and complex. As Salsa family and other modern ciphers have shown you don't have to use complex function to achieve security.

As far as I know there are people that are interested in putting this data on IPFS, it didn't happen yet as right now the focus is to rescue, save and archive this data. Redistributing it comes after it is safe and sound.
