It's simply a fork of LineageOS designed to run microG out of the box, the builds are there for ease of use. microG is still a separate project from LineageOS. They are "LineageOS [builds meant] for [use with] microG".

Disdain for the use of "neger" in Norway was actually prompted largely by internal groups, not "American imperialism". The historical context around how the word developed does not put it in the best light. It's ant

It would have been nice if GP had actually noted the word, and no they do not need to be 80 years old to have possibly meant "neger", it depends I guess on their intentions... Edit: Frankly I am not sure why they would have meant

Looking into it, it does not look like this is solely influenced by American "cultural colonialism". Objections to the use have also been from black people who are not from the US. There may be some level of cultural ignorance reg

What benefit do you believe this is going to bring SSDs? They are full of DRAM buffers and utilize multiple simultaneous NAND channels to mask latency inherent to the tech. It seems a realtime processor would bring little to the table. Edit

There is obviously nuance, but if the word sounds like a slur, and is used generally to describe people of a certain race, then the offended can certainly express their offense, and the culture should consider the offended person's pos

I am guessing the word here is "neger", and is more akin to the US use of the word "negro" than the slur "Ni er"[looks like HN censors even my censored version of the slur to "Nier"]. Even in the US

Are you suggesting I am not taking it seriously, while also saying "Sure I can" when it comes to ignoring nuclear waste storage issues? Waste amounts are "tiny", and "bury it in a hole somewhere", ignoring time

I don't think anyone would say that a lot of industrial processes aren't extremely toxic and dangerous. The question was asked due to the downplaying of the dangers of nuclear waste. Just because something like dimethylmercury is

You're underplaying the danger and overplaying the value. Who exactly is investing in this "green gold"? If it's so valuable why does no one actually want it, and why is the DoE stuck with half a trillion liability?
