It's quite common for these companies to push their transactions through their US subsidiaries. If a company can convince their bank there will be little or no fraud they can convince their bank to avoid 3DS as well. E.g. if you have l

Card fraud was a huge problem in Europe/Russia/Asia etc, but less so in the US (probably related to US's dependency on credit and "credit history"). The internet was taking off and magnified this problem exponential

On the desktop side, a good UI on OS X compensates for a mish-mash of inefficient and insecure technology on the backend side of things (legacy tech, mix of ..ix/Mach/Next/MacOS). On Linux/FreeBSD it's typically the

That's possibly a valid workaround (can't test - my K811 keyboard is at the office) which on my international keyboard is not nearly as convenient as just depressing shift with my pinky, but it does not change the fact that the K8

Yeah, I'm seeing issues with gcc failing to compile for x86_64 as well, for various packages. Whether this is 10.10 or Xcode 6 beta I have no idea yet (fwiw, I have both Xcode 5 and 6 installed).

Yes. It also means you should definitively go for a pure Intel-based laptop (with Intel HD graphics of some sorts) whatever choice you end up with. Good luck!

I've had the best luck with laptops which are "pure" Intel based, including graphics. For most non-hardcore gaming uses, Intel integrated graphics is fast enough, and it seems well supported on most of the traditional Linux d

There's also a set of packages named CEDET/Semantic that may help, where CEDET is the "project" part and Semantic handles the auto-complete part. I only tried Semantic and it seemed to work fine, although I found I used
