I think Coinhive was really cool and a fantastic idea that was ruined by rogue actors. I love the thought of mining for 20 seconds to unlock reading an article instead of getting out your credit card or even paying with crypto. Completely a

The way people speak here in past tense of something that hasn't happened yet is ridiculous.

Your comment is a not a good representation of how the experience actually is. Nothing painful or annoying about it. If anything, it's a relief.

I read the whole thing expecting to learn about the Error I thought was named after him. Still a good read though.

Very unconvincing article that I thought would be about something else entirely. What's the problem exactly?

I've never seen anyone be so pessimistic toward new technology as the HN crowd. I can think of a million cool use cases for transparent screens.

Strange comment and bad advice in general. This is a problem that doesn't need $25k to be solved. You're basically telling them to give up or raise money for no reason at all.

And I don't understand why people lump all AI together as if a coding assistant is the same thing as AI generated spam and other garbage. I'm pretty sure no-one here is excited about that. I'm excited about the former since A

I'm not talking about the physics calculations. I'm talking about it navigating, adapting and coding using my own patterns, coding style and structure within a context that is completely custom. It understands the framework I'

Not my experience at all. I feel exactly the same as people with ADHD describe the effects. Why gatekeep such a miracle medicine?

I think everyone should be prescribed Elvanse. I don't have ADHD but Elvanse feels like taking NZT. I become a superhuman.

You're replying to the author but I agree. Too much unfounded speculation. I'm glad the author is being called out for lack of research in a sibling comment.
