Why would nuked pages matter? Snapshots capture everything and are not part of wikimedia software.

Nah, you can snapshot every 15 minutes. The snapshot interval depends on the frequency of changes and their capacity, but it's up to them how to allocate these capacities... but it's definitely doable and there are real reasons fo

Filesystem & database snapshots are very cheap to make, you can make them every 15 minutes. You can expire old snapshots (or collapse the deltas between them) depending on the storage requirements.

Exactly. On top of that, most managed flash (which is equivalent to SSD controllers) will pass all write through a modified cyclic XOR pad in order to keep the /bit/ entropy high. I don’t think the article holds on multiple abstra

Idea: canary fingers. You register a few digits that wipe filesystem keys from memory so that no further biometrics can be used. It’s like what happens when you hold the power button on an iphone, but with a fun russian roulette twist.

My first introduction to patching a blob by hand, was from replacing the winxp taskbar “start” string with my name. Thankfully my name was shorter than the original string. Eventually I just installed linux.

To be fair, 32 bit machines just can’t do (good) ASLR. That doesn’t stop me from using my 20 year old thinkpad t60s for specific projects, though.

I don't want to install random ROMs from a forum. (also, I just noticed that out of all my comments, my OP was controversial enough to be downvoted <0. That's kind of funny, I thought there were better contenders.)

To be clear and towards the OP's comment about ESP32 ISA -- Xtensa isn't really a self contained architecture, it can be customized (extended) by the vendor. The ISA can be extended for these customizations. ESP32 is one customiza
