Interesting, looked it up and found a thing saying that military personnel and their spouse or dependents are allowed to have an address outside of Texas on their Texas licenses and IDs. So I guess I learned something new haha.

Texas lets you put a California address on IDs? Didn't even know that was possible. I thought states only allowed IDs with addresses in the same state? Do they not validate their forms? I know they are suppose to match where you domici

I wonder if Microsoft with the xCloud project could just web WebRTC in Safari full screen? There's a gamepad API for bluetooth controllers, It seems like mobile safari supports it from a quick Google search. Disappointed in Apple here

China blocks and keeps out US companies like Google, so not really that surprised. If they can't use Google, why should we use TikTok? But on the other hand this does seem a bit concerning, the cool thing about the internet is it conne

Interesting, a bit over my head. Haven't got into Go, into Typescript/Node but there's been some really cool Go project's I've came across. My idea was to just store an array of strings in JSON and generate a query

Pretty neat. I was considering doing something like this to create full text search inside of some newSQL type databases I've been looking at but don't support full text yet, like CockroachDB or YugabyteDB. I know some people use

You're welcome. I been toying around with doing a virtual world, but still far away from doing the economy related stuff. One of my concerns is some teenager might steal their parents credit card and rack up charges, maybe multiple one

Very neat, reminds me of how like PayPal makes 2 small deposits to verify your bank account. Only downside I'd think to this is fees for the site owner(but might offset chargebacks if their site had a bunch in the past so maybe worth i

Interesting about your story where having to pay for another eye exam... I heard someone ended up breaking their pair of glasses and knew their prescription so went to go back to the same shop to get a new pair, but they wouldn't let

Very cool! Wonder how the copyright works on this sorta stuff. Since you fed your AI with actual images of other people art... but a art student would study other people’s art too. So not sure if AI would be seen as a copy or a derivative w

Interesting! I get random password resets for Facebook, Instagram and some others... Probably some hackers using a script... Then if people do that, wonder if they also try to signup people? That would explain things maybe... Like some site

Interesting, didn't see that article. I remember seeing a lot of people post about Michigan back when the lockdowns started. Seems like even the non-local nationwide media was attacking the governor there for some of the things she did

Due to COVID... So Garden centers closed, but even big box stores like Walmart put caution tape over the seed section... Can still buy alcohol and lotto tickets though... Did a search and found an image: https://twitter.com/

Wonder if this could have been done by a rogue employee at Twitter? Since they are working from home during COVID, wonder what internal controls they have? I know some wondered if they used serveral high profile accounts, why not the presid

Sounds obsessive, and maybe even a ADA violations here if due to a learning disability. Reminds me of that one judge that was doing that cash for kids scandal. However sounds like Michigan is a police state right now, like for example it&#x

IANAL but from my little bit of research on trademarks it's not the same industry, so not likely a confusion... Don't think anyone would think a company that creates Deck and Software were the same. Kinda like they have Docker con

I know some stores also put the warnings on the credit card machine you got to accept too. I know CVS does this, not sure others but people probably just tap away. I think they do that even if paying with cash, not sure...

Yeah, not sure how the cruise lines deal with this... I know some of them have offices in the US, some major ones pick Miami but the ships are owned and registered to off-shore nations. One of the reasons they didn't get a bailout due

Maybe buy an old cruise ship and put it in international waters lol. That'd probably help get rid of some of the liability and zoning issues.

This bill seems like something out of 1984... I kinda wonder if any big tech companies will fight back like Apple since they push backed on issues before... Other tech companies maybe too, but I think some tech companies are fine with this
