One thing everyone seems to be missing in this thread is that these tweets aren't in isolation. Last week he came on national TV to beg people to go back to work, saying the virus is just "a little flu" and, while he's a

I used the RX 5700 XT with the community patch for months in a PCI Pass-through setup and had zero issues with the reset bug. It's definitely an option for consumers if you ask me.

Disagree. HN being what it is makes it especially important that people with challenging ideas speak up. If you're looking for an echo chamber there are better communities.

Side note, why do you love MongoDB? I've never had a situation where I believed it would fit my current problem better, so I really don't know why people use it.

One thing I don't understand about this line of thinking is how do you expect sick people from working? Sure, not everyone will die but a significant portion of the population will get infected and need at the very least to stay home f

That is the saddest thing I've ever read on this site. I know there's people who believe that but it's still shocking to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not saying China is not to be criticized. I just feel like everyone is being quick to jump on them and forgetting about the more tangible and immediate issues, which is their own governments doin

That's fair, but we have our share of blame for letting this get out of control. We knew what this virus could do as well, and instead of acting accordingly we're just not.

It's awful, but I feel it's not fair to single out China for this. I don't see the rest of the world doing much better of a job, especially in Brazil where Bolsonaro is still going on television to downplay the situation an

I decided to do that as well, and the fact that artists get literal pennies from Spotify made me completely apathetic towards piracy. I support artists I like through merch and concerts, which is where they make money nowadays.

Is it though? I don't know about stats in the US, but I'd be surprised if the majority of the people earned enough money to choose what to do with it after basic human expenses. Unless you count surviving as a choice, but at that
