I'm glad you're open to changing your mind. I'm no artist myself, but Minecraft definitely lets me express some of my creative aspect that capitalism reprehends.

Recent Android and iOS versions report false, randomized Bluetooth addresses to prevent exactly that.

Chrome is not the right tool because it was specifically built for Gmail. It's the right tool because Google hates competition.

Considering how long it takes to become interactive on anything that's not Chrome, I'd hardly call it a working product.

I'm from 1997 and that is precisely the case for me. It's bad enough that I have a hard time taking pictures even when I want to, because I internalized how annoying it is.

How is installing a native application a viable alternative to javascript? Presumably, if you're blocking the latter is because you don't want to run untrusted code on your device.

What an interesting timing. Just yesterday I got fed up with Facebook after I realized I was somehow angry about politics at 2am on the comments of a post that was 100% filled with bots. I can honestly take everything they (Facebook, Twitte

Why not government bonds? Unless your country's government crashes, you're guaranteed to have your money back.

I'll be surprised if you can get lag free + high resolution for connections bad enough that it's an issue on TeamViewer. However you could try Parsec. It's a cloud gaming solution first and foremost, but maybe that might help

I agree. The joy in using emacs for (mostly) everything is my configurations and workflow translate nicely into other contexts as well. For example, all my evil mode (vim) config, custom keybinds and extensions are available whether I'

I'm in a similar situation, though to be completely honest I don't mind it much. I lived in a big city with significantly more choices and while it was undeniably better, I don't really miss it.

I've gone to a supermarket before. In fact when I was young I was forced by the system to work as a cashier at one, and to this day, a decade and a half later, I can't think of a worse feeling than sitting 8 hours a day doing abso

No, what's produced is what the system wants people to think they want. Nobody wants 100 slightly different brands of the same thing. That said, I'll concede that sometimes we don't know what we want (the iPhone for example w

I don't see how that changes anything. Sure, the alternatives might be worse (which I disagree), but that doesn't mean the current system is good.

I can empathize with that. In my experience front end does tend to pull in a significant amount of dependencies, and while I think we can do better I also think it's understandable to a certain extent. Web applications with the complex
