As a web dev trying to get into reverse engineering, this was super interesting to read. With the knowledge I have, it does seem like both things require a certain amalgamation of barely-related knowledge to be able to do effectively, and I

I'm not sure what you mean by auto-login not working. I've had my Steam account for 11 years and I can remember a time where that was the case, but it works so reliably nowadays I didn't even remember it was an issue until re

This is completely wrong. Neimod was in fact so against piracy that there's accounts of him banning people from the 3dsdev IRC simply for trying to jump-start the 3ds homebrew scene back then.

This is only tangentially related, but one thing I find interesting is how video games contributed to us being desensitized to violence. It's funny hearing from my mom about how The Exorcist was terrifying back then, while nowadays it&

Isn't the subjectivity heavily implied in that context? If people take it on face value and try to prove them wrong, it's on them.

I'm personally not a fan of that kind of content either, but I like that politics is mainstream enough now that it exists. Politics discussion (however shallow) shouldn't be exclusive to certain demographics in my opinion.
