I seem to have found a bug. When I use the default match ":espanso" on my terminal (Kitty) it gets expanded to "hi there1", while I expect "Hi there!". Seems to work fine on Firefox. Edit: Seems like it's

It's just completely unproductive. I don't see an issue with pointing out the flaws in the distro, but calling it "cringe" does nothing to your comment besides devalue it. Why not use a descriptive word like "insec

I've been using EndeavourOS ever since Antergos shut down and never had a single issue that I wouldn't have in other distros. Isn't the point of Linux that anyone can do whatever they want with it? If you think that's a

This made me very emotional. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies, Spirited Away, which also has an incredibly emotional train scene. Thank you for sharing.

I understand, but that's also part of the problem. Human beings will take the shortest path to "victory" even if they don't like it, and this is a situation that exemplifies it. I end up having a worse experience overall

I find that streaming services push me to this weird loop that I never feel like I have to go out of my way to discover music, because it's always pushing me music the platform wants to promote. Of course they're not literally pre

The driver situation is alright now, but don't buy a new AMD card expecting the experience to be this good. The first few months with this card were absolute hell for me, and I still have the occasional issue where the driver simply cr

I've had the RX 5700 XT since launch and only had to use mesa-git on the first couple of months, which is reasonable imo.

This is insanity. I'm glad I gave up on this streaming nonsense a while ago when I realized it made me listen to music the platform wants me to listen, instead of music I want to listen.

I don't understand how this can be useful without taking into account your teammates and enemies. For example, as Caitlyn I wouldn't want to take Legend Bloodline if my support was a Soraka, but otherwise it's better than Leg

I would love to see a real permission system on Linux, where applications have to explicitly ask me before accessing things deemed important. It's never been a problem for me, but it would give me some comfort.

The problem is the average person wouldn't know what a shell is in the first place, and those are the ones with the least powerful machines that suffer the most from this. They shouldn't have to go through a process that has the p

I know there are ways to disable it, but none are intuitive and/or discoverable by regular people. Also Group Policy is not available on Windows 10 Home (without hacks anyway).

Windows defender makes Windows 10 absolutely impossible to use on slow (non-SSD) drives. That would be fine if there was an easy way to disable it, but it's literally impossible without digging through guides online. It's insanity

Honestly? It's great. As much as living in a tech center has its advantages, I like that once I leave my house the concept of a programmer is foreign to people. I don't have to think about it at all if I don't want to, and

What a world where people are more concerned about a single company going under than the fact that the working class is finally doing something against the rigged capitalist system.
