Yes society is definitely going to develop in such a simplistic manner. Also, do I really want to be a member of a society like China in its current form? The answer is no. I have no interest in being a slave to my government, even more so

If the next civilization is my government having the ability to take my money away from me, I want to part of it

I didn't get grandfathered in, and I had purchased the premium version back when it was a single purchase. Some of us definitely got fucked by that.

Same here. I like the JRE podcast but not enough to use Spotify and their terrible podcasting experience. Now I really only catch an interesting YouTube clip every few weeks.

A bit of an insane requirement honestly. I guess they're assuming their target demographic would be wealthy enough to either have an iPhone, or be around people who would have an iPhone? Kinda rubs me the wrong way still, even though I

Very cool, don't care for the iPhone requirement for the custom fitting but I'm not sure how they'd get get around that since most people don't have an accurate 3D scanner just sitting around.

Why is this person downvoted? They raise a good point, albeit snarky lol Given the atrocities that humanity has done, and is currently doing as we speak, I'm sure we're going down yet another road of atrocities. We are all complic

You've done a good job of describing a feeling I've had for years now. It really is just such a turn off when anyone is super vocal about how good of a person they are. It's like a code smell.

Usually when I sell PCs or PC hardware, people just come pick up the stuff at my house. The listing takes a few minutes for each item but other than that it's barely any effort

What would have happened had Twitter not complied with said suggestions? To the company, to the executives, to regular employees? The threat of that is very real.

I certainly care a lot about having a Linux desktop that works well with the hardware I bought for it, and has a company with a vested interest in keeping it that way. I admire how Apple controls their entire stack and is able to do interes

Yea I feel that. I honestly think that the only reason my goals aren't to just buy a piece of land in rural Canada and live life in peace is because it's not the lifestyle my girlfriend wants. That being said, we still want rural

People do complain about Brampton as well. Just because it's not in this article doesn't mean people don't bring it up lol... I've definitely seen listings that won't rent to muslim/hindu people etc., for examp

You're missing the point though. The device should be usable on its own. This is extremely anti-consumer, it doesn't matter if there's a simple solution

I'd be more okay with donating via Patreon if they didn't do the thing where every internet platform that becomes successful feels the need to start going down the political route. I'm not sure if this is a more of an issue d
