Your comment made me check the code. IMO it isn't very clean, but if it works it works I guess.

For other mobile users: The black boxes are data; they are automatically picked up. You're swiping to move the cursor that places the data. The "write file" button writes the data.

This is interesting. However, having a layout similar to what you already know makes it harder to have a clear mental separation between the two. It also makes it harder to use it as an excuse to learn proper touch typing.

Huh. Didn't run in to it when I was searching for libraries. It appears to be just 350 bytes larger than LeanQR when gzipped.

If you stumbled upon this looking for the smallest QR code JS library, it's probably LeanQR [0]. It's under 10kb minified and 5kb compressed. [0] https://qr.davidje13.com/

Trying to make my own thing that transcribes what I hear throughout my day. A lot of it is just finding an efficient stack (eg choosing silero instead of pyannote, azure vms instead of apis, whisper.cpp instead of faster whisper)

I wouldn't want to implement the suggested YouTube UI (menu showing up next to button) because it's the kind of thing that has the most potential to glitch out. Dialogs generally don't glitch out as they're absolutely po

This is the 2nd time I've seen someone confused about this. The safety filtering is a layer on top of the model's built in ability to refuse, similar to OpenAI's "moderation" endpoint.
