Personally I use Google Suite’s $10/month plan which includes unlimited[1] Drive storage, as well as all the other nice things GSuite provides (Gmail, photos, office, cloud, etc). [1]: technically 1TB for <5 users but no Google does

NXP holds patents for SPA and DPA countermeasures[0], and this board's security IC, the NXP A71CH[1] does in fact have this. [0]: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20081104005569/en/Cry... [1]:

Interesting. That's a $2 SoC, part of NXP's "Ultra Low Cost" line. The whole BOM cost is probably around $10-15, so hopefully F-Secure can sell enough of these to bring consumer cost down. I can see a lot of use for thes

FWIW, I’m having serious issues with my FTDI board on Catalina —- even after installing the VCP driver. I’ve had to downgrade to Mojave for the time being

I've watched a few movies in what's called ScreenX[0]. It's a cinema experience where they project the movie on the main (front) screen, and project the surroundings on the two side walls. The result is an immersive viewing e

This is how Focals by North [0] work. Everyone I’ve asked about it has thought it’s a silly idea (to have to wear a ring), but I still can’t think of a better interface. [0]: https://www.bynorth.com/

Currently the process involves experimentally recording activation and trying to replicate that. It’s not as easy as it sounds, though. Organic neurons don’t have floating-point weight values, nor do neural maps propagate in the feed-forwar

Worth mentioning iMazing by DigiDNA fixes a LOT of the issues around Apple's poor implementation of iOS <-> PC/Mac support. You can use it to schedule automatic wireless local backups, among other things.

Perhaps I just don’t grok Twitter, but this seems like an awful way to convey information. When you click the link, you’re shown a whole bunch of garbage coercing you to sign up for the platform. It’s only in a small postage stamp GIF that

I don’t believe the IDFA is unique per developer (assuming I’m understanding you correctly). I use analytics in my company’s app and I get my team to send me their IDFA by downloading a free app from the App Store. The IDFA in my analytics

In ~2016 I drove a preproduction electric vehicle from a major manufacturer not known for making fast cars. It wasn’t a sports car, and it wasn’t even one of their high end models. But that thing was fast . When I drove the same car later

While this is generally true, I think it’s less true for embedded systems. All of the tools I use at work for embedded systems engineering (JLink, serial adapter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, nearly all MCU dev boards and FPGAs) are USB-A.

Think about how many Google products have lasted much longer than four year: Search, Maps, Gmail, Drive, AdWords, etc. This skews the average. What would be more helpful is a median, or percentiles (eg 75% of Google products only last X yea

While IQ isn’t inherently racist, the data is racially biased. If you correlate IQ to race, you may find minority Y has a lower average IQ (true) which may falsely imply that the cause for X is being of race Y.
