It's worth it in the balance of user privacy and how accurate attributions are imo. Apple are tilting the balance back in favour of users.

Rust is much more like Ruby than C++ while retaining the characteristics of C++/C. The build system and ecosystem is also excellent, something that you cannot say for C++. In terms of WASM Rust and C++/C are in the same boat i.e.

Yew already seems to out perform most other frontend frameworks and view libraries[0]. More importantly it does this while still paying the serialising cost when moving from WASM to JS and back. This cost is set to go away when WASM to JS i

Have you used the modern web? We might not be building apps with "performance criticial tasks", but the modern web would benefit immensely from anything that improves baseline performance.

There was a discussion about the topic of MFA resets on the Risky Business podcast[0] in which the host, Patrick Gray, suggested companies require a one time fee for MFA resets. I think the suggested amount in the show was $50 which seems r

Of course everyone is free to build apps in whichever way they want, others are free to take issue with it. My argument here is that these "blank canvas" cross platform UI toolkits are trading an improved developer experience for

I am not a fan of the general trend in cross platform UI that can be described as "blank canvas" cross platform i.e. where cross platform UI is achieved by treating the app as a blank canvas ala web or OpenGL/Vulkan/Meta

Yes but the counter argument here is that games are all extremely custom anyway and it makes sense for them to render their UI completely from scratch in a blank canvas. For typical applications the blank canvas/from scratch approach d
