I'm not stopping anyone -- just pointing out that it's not rational or solving a real problem. :) I wouldn't carry hard-boiled eggs around with me either. I do carry small bags of nuts and dried fruit around though.

I think that most people need less protein than they believe. Nutrition marketing plays on the idea that if a little bit is good, then more is better -- but sometimes less is better. Apparently, the average person in the US already gets t

It's really irritating to click on those links, so I think the request is reasonable. AMP pages take many seconds to load on some browsers.

The mind boggling thing about it is that people pay $2(?) for 10 small nuts and two dates. (Who really needs 3 egg whites at random times in the middle of the day?) Buy nuts and dates in bulk for less than half the price, put a few of them

Many people block tracking pixels (by not loading images) anyway, so it doesn't completely make sense. Is the plan to automatically unsubscribe everyone who doesn't load images in emails?

It isn't just my browser. AMP performs very badly in some non-mobile browsers (no extensions).

For people who use extensions or browsers that block third party JS, AMP pages will take many seconds to load in non-mobile Web browsers. Here is information about some of the other problems with AMP: https://www.theregister.co.u

Because that page is AMP by default, it takes about 7 seconds to load the page on my laptop. AMP is really slow in some cases. Edit: see my comment below before you downvote me.

I think that it's not a good idea to browse the Web without protection. I'll strip the /amp from the URL before I disable an extension.

Good idea. AMP links take seconds to load on my laptop. All I see is a blank page with no indication of loading.

Type `about:config` in the address bar. Then type `privacy` in the search bar that appears. Look for `privacy.trackingprotection.ui.enabled` and double click it. I think that will turn it on everywhere.
