If using Evil mode or vim, it's just a few keystrokes to remove that. (ctrl-v to block select) Or <s TAB (or <q TAB) will create a block.

Google Scholar isn't the worst case of it, but Material Design is making a lot of the Web very unpleasant. Over-saturated, garish colors, low-contrast text, and too much animation (not accessible to people who have trouble with visual

The article doesn't make sense without an alternative. What open standard is being proposed to replace the open WWW? Mobile apps and app stores are not a replacement for the open Web, and it can't reasonably be argued that locked-

I still think that projects like Vue will pass React soon. Facebook only did the right thing because they saw the impending backlash. The PATENTS file is still in their other repos.

I don't think that they are the same. If the PATENTS file usage becomes widespread, it would probably impact small startups without legal teams more than anything regarding implicit patent grants would.

It isn't just React. The PATENTS file is in most of Facebook's repos and it's becoming part of dependencies of dependencies. In the future it could be difficult to remove that software from your stack. (Immutable, Jest, Flow,

Definitely for worse in many cases. Every time I buy a new phone with better specs, I expect that things will be that much better, but they never are. Instead, the power is wasted on useless things like animation, apps that I can't shu

You don't need to try color after color -- just find a theme you like and install it. It's very simple. :) Make a visit to any Linux user's group, and someone can help set it up. If you want to experiment with different kinds
