I've never dry fasted and never would. It sounds like a terrible idea. I try to drink at least three liters of water per day while fasting.

I used to live in Europe and have also lived in many parts of the US. Just trying to understand, since I didn't notice much visible difference other than wind power. I'm from a rural area in the US, and it was a great place. I hav

The transition period will be difficult for some people, but I think that GDPR will probably be good for the world in the long-term. New companies will start building their systems correctly from the beginning, and, ideally, the law won

Facebook's use of software is completely different than a product of Facebook that targets programmers. Companies release open-source libraries because they benefit the companies.

That doesn't really address the issue that the use of Facebook's software supports Facebook. The industry needs to pay more attention to the long-term results of its choices and actions.

Using Facebook's software supports Facebook. I think the industry should move away from that instead of adopting more of their technology. Programmers should start considering these things. Alternatives: Elm, Purescript, etc. Edit: I r

I think it needs some customization for full-time use too. Example: you can toggle comments with things like `:norm i// ` and `:norm 03x`, but with nerdcommenter, you just type `gc` or `gcu`, which requires less attention.
