Kroger doesn't even physically exist in the Austin market anymore. H-E-B basically drove them out of the market years ago. H-E-B and Whole Foods dominate the Austin market. WF because they originated here and there are many locations.

Honestly a good espresso machine. Obviously it's not the best of the best, I'm not a coffee snob/expert, but spending $800 on a mid-tier breville espresso machine is miles ahead of the $100 espresso machine I tried a couple y

I have a nodejs+typescript backend stuck in a limbo state because of the whole esm modules fiasco. I have outdated npm modules I can't upgrade because they are ESM only, and I have old modules that will likely never update. It's t

After the Texas winter fiasco, we had solar panels + backup battery (40kWh worth) + backup whole home generator installed. Thankfully enphase allows you to go fully off grid so if the grid is down, you can still use your panels & backup

I've used Meilisearch for the last two years with around 300k items in the search index for a personal project and its pretty good. The earlier verisons were a bit rough but recently even indexing a ton of data is speedy.

Just to clarify, when it says "1 car length", the car adjusts the amount of space depending on speed. So its not literally just one car length.

“In the near future, once these features achieve performance parity to today’s vehicles” Right... like how vision vehicles have parity with autopilot speeds and following distance? Oh wait they don't. Vision-only vehicles are still lim

Singapore is 281.3 mi², Texas (a single US state) by itself is 268,597 mi². The level of public transit that some countries and cities have and people expect are simply not feasible in a lot of places simply due to the sheer size. And even

That would assume that nest and ring cameras are even capable of making out license plates. They're all crappy sensors with horrible night vision.

Parcel has been praised on here many times when it originally came out. I was an avid user but the nail in the coffin was the horrid and long release of v2 which took forever, the docs were in disarray, and overall just left a bad taste in

Radar is only turned off if you are accepted into the full self driving beta and turn it on. Then it switches over to full vision.
