Why? How does that upset you more than people using n.?

by Jonovono 12y ago
Because I make things I WANT TO USE!! I'm not making them to put on my resume, or to show people, I'm making things that I actually want to use and they don't exist yet and they would make my life better/easier/what

As far as an ant is concerned, neither of them landed on the moon, and the moon doesn't exist.

lol you know, unless were on HN where people know about the hosts file :P I kid. It still works, although I use rescuetime now and it's pretty useful seeing how much time you waste on certain things. Costs money though.

I think it's a bit different. Woz saw the great potential for the hardware he was making, and said that the only thing he wanted was a computer, something he actually wanted to use. With that motivation and excitement I can see how you

I like this. You can see why Steve and Steve made good friends/partners, at least in the beginning. I think most people think of Woz as the tech guy and Jobs as the everything else. But here you can see Woz's love beyond just maki

Ya, it's $199 here in Canada. It looks like the one in Canada offers health and ancestry. Does the US one still only do ancestry?

Gimmicky crap like your health? huh. I care about more health --- a bit at least. I don't find it gimmicky.

So you're saying we need a SaaS service for managing other SaaS services and integrating them and keeping up to date with changes! :p actually....

Interesting. Cheaper than the salary for an employee and probably together are able to help you do more than a single person.

Had this happen to me once when I opened my browser and it loaded a bunch of HN tabs. I browsed through a proxy for a few days and then eventually my ip was not blocked anymore.

What are the other alternatives? I never got to try OhLife. I was planning on making something similar, so it's cool that these things already exist, although i'd want a few more features so maybe i'll look into forking this!

Sometimes it's easier to open up an app and see what's playing then go up to the coffee shop employee and ask them what was just on the radio. Then if they don't know, yell to everyone there if anyone knows what song just pla

Awesome! Can't wait to try this out. Something that I wouldn't mind added would be to keep like a history of all the beers you have seen and the places you saw them at so if I am craving my favorite beer I can quickly see what spo

Cool. I wish there were more people offering 'data only' plans. I was able to get by with a Bell flex plan for about $10 a month and just use that as my cell phone plan.

by Jonovono 12y ago
Ya, would be interesting to rethink it. Seems cool, but like the question about using it on your phone. Since steno you need two hands you can't use it on your phone (keyboards on your pockets? lol :) )

by Jonovono 12y ago
Ya. The way I pictured it working would be something like your vimrc file or whatever. People post those online all the time as a 'good' starting point. Then eventually you want to add your own and what not.
