Some things I wish:
- I could write on paper and have that sent to a document on the computer as if it was typed out. Something like those digital pens do, but actually ocr the text.
- To learn Stenography (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpv-Qb-dB6g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wpv-Qb-dB6g)

- gumby 12y agoI have a livescribe 3 which does what you ask -- OCRs the handwriting. It's OK. The pen firmware is fantastic but the live scribe client software is painful. I hear the pen firmware was done by someone else. I carry it with me always. Despite the OCR capability, its main value is that my paper notebook is backed up. And yes, I find typing effortless (I rarely touch the mouse/touchpad) but still, using a pen to take down notes or for musing is a crucial skill I use every day, and could not substitute the keyboard for.
