Ah yes. The question I should have asked is: Is it more secure than not using it, and in what way? Like for example, the Linux kernel isn't signed, right?

Is Secure Boot on Linux actually secure? I remember reading it was like a signed loader and that's it. But I presume that's incorrect?

Carrier grade NAT does not give the user choice of what they want to do with their network. If you want to employ NAT on your network, that should be your choice, not your ISP's.

Don't do stupid things then. If you want to interact with anyone making jailbreaks, don't do it. If you think you're going to develop a jailbreak, don't join the program. They have better lawyers than you can afford. And

Your broadband argument does not work in 2020. The technology exists for symmetric. NAT is not security. Here's an article from F5: https://www.f5.com/services/resources/white-papers/the-myth-... And why

They said they're going to be doing something for retail consumers soon. Their standard desktop CPUs are flying off the shelves. I imagine there's only so much capacity for chip building.

Maybe you don't know what it is. But it's a utility to edit the sudoers file with validation that prevents you from saving a broken file. If the file is broken, you cannot use sudo. visudo on the latest Ubuntu defaults to nano.

I haven't used Libreoffice in years. Did they ever update the UI styling? I remember it had a very "java" look to it. You know that feeling when you open an app, you know it's going to be a bit janky.

Bandwidth is a concern I assume. What percentage of the data transferred is a font or JavaScript library? If it's like 30% (I don't know, just guessing) then that's a portion of bandwidth that could have been used to serve us
