How does this compare in cost to startups using justworks that has better negotiating power for cost savings in the insurance even with low amount of employees?

Absolutely disagree with this sentiment. Avoiding recessions pushes for a change in the rules of the game allowing unhealthy practices to go on unpunished in the market. This is incredibly unhealthy in the long run.

Finland/Sweden. I'm not saying they perfect, or that they have no flaws. I'm saying they are not actively poisonous, such as in US. I think it's related to how weaponized the legal system in US is compared anywhere else

There are sometimes beggars/junkies in the metro, but it's very rare and it's usually about asking money for cigarettes.

What? There is literally no cost. You download the competitors app, and youre good to go. Prices for the ride are always changing. Uber usually has lower per mile cost, while Lyft has a bit lower minute cost. This does not affect switching

My apologies, I think I started off on a bit of a negative tone because I might have mistakenly analyzed your comments as a bit pompous and disrespectful as well. If that was not your intention, my bad. I should always better assume best in

They started out with that, but I can't think of any other reason they changed it to the current model, except greed. And AFAIK this is only how it is in some US cities, like cities in California. In Europe they still operate at a stan

Yes, your point? You need different insurance if you're going to be driving 10 hours per day instead of just to work, and from work. Who would have guessed?

Exactly, so we agree on the point - there are no 'uber drivers' per se, they are just contractors driving a car and intermittently using services to find clientele. Uber provides some insurance in _most_ countries they operate in,

Thank you. You seem to get the itch nearly completely. However you are missing one thing where Uber and Lyft have gone overnoard to the greedy side: At least in California, driver pay, and what the customer paid are decoupled. There is no m

Not true with Uber. It depends on the jurisdiction/market. The way it works in California is not how it works country- or worldwide.

I think you're coming from a completely wrong view point. There are no "Uber drivers" these are taxi drivers that choose to (at times) use the Uber app to get clients. Depending on the local jursidiction, they might be absolu

What below minimum wage rates? In most of Uber's markets the price is based on supple and demand, and the drivers get a portion of that price. It's a market driven scheme where you agree to driving at that price. If you don't
