The job market for tech is saturated with all the layoffs. Not many companies are going to pay anywhere close to 200k anymore.

I like leaderboards, and its a bit sad that Redis is the only optimal database for leaderboards. So, I'm attempting a drunken version of a statistic database that tracks stats and leaderboards in realtime. I guess the only major defi

I was not thinking about ordering, that is an important point. I focused mainly on finding the "row" belonging to a unique key. Maintaining/designing the btree for innodb or postgres must be a nightmare with multithreading a

I don't think relational databases can handle sorted sets optimally. Most of online tutorials for leaderboards lean towards using redis.

If its anything like my corp, Twitch only gets a small discount, if any at all. It's expensive regardless. Network bandwidth alone is probably in the $20+ million a month range.

No, a React component is not tied to any one parent component. The paradigm is entirely of its own kind. It may react to parent data, or it may react to external data. It's purely a rendering tree management system. There are no rul

CF is actually pretty good for server-side rendering. However, when mixing with JS it does get a bit convoluted. I used it back in 2010-2014, and made some pretty nifty webapps to manage a tournament with brackets and live scores. I thoug

Reminds me of that 15 year old who revolutionized modding for Half-Life games by creating Metamod. Some kids are crazy. I cried from frustration trying to learn C++ at that age.

React Native suffers from package hell and is not native. Flutter is also somewhat in that scope. If you want C# you can try Xamarin, though I have zero experience with it. In any case, I'd never use React Native again, and stick to
