(Note that it is not thousands of new people each year. It is the number of people that has this protection. Out of 10+ million people,) Good question. From a technical, byrocratic point of view it breaks a lot of systems, which makes pract

And he is wrong. GDPR is Swedish law, and governments take GDPR issues very seriously. Every community must by law have a GDPR compliance officer responsible for handling issues and reporting them to the government. There has been some qu

So it was at renewal, not out of the blue? Did the landlord actually mention the pay raise? One should always do as good due diligence as possible before doing a major change in life such as moving to another country. No matter which countr

Sounds like a bad, private landlord not affiliated with landlord associations. If the landlord was affiliated, this would be a breakage of agreement and the tenant union organization [0] could help, drive the case against the landlord. [0]

Actually they often do. It is not that uncommom that politicians, government workers etc quit or get fired when embarrasing things are exposed. Esp if it relates to making personal economic gains from the position one has.

Sounds like a failed UI for AR. If you cover up things, not work together with the real word view (including moving, adapting to how the user move the head and match the balance input), you basically would have crappy VR.

Most sensors have internal noise that can be extracted. I've extracted entropy from biometric sensors by turning of noise suppression.

I was going to say that this is what we used as one of two entropy sources [0] in the Cryptech HSM. But the second link there is the fork of the Cryptech rosc entropy source we did for the FPGA based NTS server. ;-) The TRNG in the Tillitis

It wasn't that RDAND wasn't trusted as source of randomness in Linux. It wasn't trusted enough to replace the whole RNG chain - with entropy collection, seed extraction and DRBG/CSPRNG. Which to me was and is perfectly r

In many embedded systems and constrained devices, there is a lack of proper randomness. And often the system environment is too stable to use as source of entropy (by connecting a sensor). This makes it hard to set up secure sessions. If fa
