I hear that. I spent nearly 4 years doing OO PHP. I enjoy coding a lot more now I'm rocking ruby/rails. If anything this article has made me more inclined to check out python/django.

The commit parameter is a pain in the backside when it comes to rails but I would have thought most people would know how to fix this anyway. It's a simple HTML issue, not really a Rails issue.

I've currently sorted out integration with Github. I'll look into integrating with Subversion and others if there's enough call for it.

I'm currently using it for features as well as bugs while I'm building it, so it should be gravy. Also the quick add thing was the first thing I added as it's the main thing that annoys me with current systems.

Learn git. It's easy to do and will save you a whole load of ballache down the line. Our front end designers picked it up pretty easily so it can't be that hard :P

Instead of fixing a MySQL query that took minutes, I wrote a mechanize script that logged into the host admin and deleted the query warning.
