The hybrid aspect of it is through using it's data storage system, opening the event loop, clearing widgets every frame, and adding them every frame. We haven't completed the full documentation on using it this way but its there.

It's user preference. DearPyGui has alot more widgets and power than tkinter. However tkinter is native. So it's really up to you. And like vanni said, you can actually use them together.
