I browse with JavaScript disabled, and agree that enabling it is about trust. However, I fail to understand how axod is making the web "a bit more unpleasant"? His message is humorous, and offers more value than no indication of required te

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was talking about the 'major' players. IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. (Browsers that have a reach of 5% or more in all the sites I manage.) This is discounting mobile browsers, IE derivativ

I agree, it's definitely bait of some description or another. I don't think it offers "nothing to think about" though. The article is right in that Opera is last in browser market share. Would it be pushing as hard against Microsoft (and fo

It was a generalisation to save my having to type a string of browsers, not a suggestion that Safari/etc don't support those things. The point being that until Internet Explorer supports anywhere near as much as [the rest], or somehow loses

"So why is it that, when it comes to CSS, we’re stuck in the past and so afraid of experimenting?" Because we like our websites to work in more than just the latest version of Firefox?

I know a lot of etsy sellers (some are men), and their passion for selling their produce is their hobby - what they make, what they craft, that is what they enjoy doing. They certainly don't see it as slavery. > It just seems silly to m

I don't know what I find more disturbing about your response - that you think having a hobby that involves sewing/cooking/gardening is akin to slavery, or your assumption that only women are doing these things (not helped by the article, I
