Hey, sorry I just realised I forgot to come back to this, here's some feedback: I think the landing page is really well done - that kind of format can be bad if the content isn't well written but each sentence made me want to read

You have to use the auto layout feature within Figma to have a consistent output for now (I intend on relaxing this requirement, but auto layout makes things much easier). But you don't need to do anything external to Figma. There'

I'm building https://pygma.app , a tool to turn Figma files into real websites. Perhaps not quite a side project as I've been spending half of the week on it. Should be launching this week.

Hi, just wondering if you'd have any interest in turning that Google Doc job description into a dedicated webpage like this: https://demos.writary.app/iterative-sr-software-engineer . It loads faster, looks more profess

Curious what you think of something like this: https://qualex.dev to solve the problem of incomplete commit messages?

https://qualex.dev - a tool for softly enforcing good commit messages. Should be finished with v1 in the next few days.

https://qualex.dev (landing page pushed yesterday). A tool to improve commit messages. I have some other plans to apply the API to other text around code (PRs and changelogs). Feedback on the idea very welcome.

Modafinil is very effective if you need to focus on some drudge tasks. For me it also seemed to work as an instant antidepressant back when that was more of an issue for me. Main downside it makes it hard to sleep and so I stopped taking it

How do engineering managers actually measure the productivity of their teams? This seems like a crucial issue for an engineering manager but it rarely seems like people are happy with how this is done or it's all just subjective.

What do you think about digital/interactive resumes? I've been building out a tool to make resumes that let you zoom in to different topics, would love to get your thoughts on whether you'd like to see something like this: h

That might be more the case if it was a pitch competition, but those kinds of startups wouldn't do well in this kind of game if they're not making real progress. When you've got good feedback loops in place and clear progress

Your initial thoughts sound fine really. If you have some money to spend on it I might go for the new Tailwind UI[0] over using Bootstrap. [0] - https://tailwindui.com/
