I had metal braces as a teenager, and now about 20 weeks into Invisalign as a 40 year old to close a gap from a lost tooth, and my god, the Invisalign is wonderful compared to the metal braces. Almost no pain, super convenient, and eating i

Very interesting and thought-provoking point. Although on the other hand, I personally think that Bill Gates, acting as a king and trying to figure out what he thinks will do the most justice and good, is going to do better for the world t

I'm not disagreeing with you, I don't think. I'm just pointing out that I don't think people having less kids means that they are poorer. As you pointed out, kids have gone from being profitable to being a cost, so it

We are not poorer now, but as you pointed out, children have gone from being profitable to being a burden, so no matter how much money we may have, there is less incentive to have children. I'm also thinking that back in the day, your

That's a really cool version, but you need to give some invincibility when you respawn, otherwise one death can be equivalent to 2-3 if there happen to be asteroids in the middle area at the time.

I don't think it's theft. It's people paying for variance/excitement. I don't think anyone really thinks they are going to gain money over time. The interesting thing to me is that probably the same people paying

I have a One World Football, and I have to say that it's pretty nice. I like the weight, the bounce, and the feel, especially for headers. I would use it in a real game if I could convince anyone else, but they all think it looks too

Doesn't that assume that you have enough money to properly diversify without the transaction costs being too much as a percentage? If you are going to buy 500 stocks to get the same diversity, then at $10 per trade fee, that's a

I would rather not pay someone (in the form of higher gas prices) to do something that takes nearly no effort, and I can damn well do myself. Who is so lazy at they can't get out of their comfy seat for 2 minutes?
