I view the debate over free will as missing the point about context. Context is everything. An analogy would be rolling a dice with your hand onto a table. Is this random? A physicist could say, "no", how you roll it, what the speed it's

I suspect that's a misleading graph. They are trying to show a loss of manufacturing jobs and in order to make the graph more dramatic, they are graphing the percentage of jobs that are manufacturing. But if they graphed the total number

I love my UL30V like no laptop I've ever had. Two dual graphics cards and 12 hours battery are so great, I don't know how other laptops can compete.

I think 1 is not a loophole because ultimately the reason you invest is so that you can consume more down the line, and that ultimate consumption should be taxed. I also don't see problems with 3 or 4. 3 maybe if you get a "poor" person to

Just my opinion, but I think that even this may be striking at the root. I've long thought that what we really need is a constitutional amendment dictating the separation of economy and state, just as we separate church and state. There sh

Interesting idea. But is doubling ones success really equivalent to halving ones expectations? I feel torn between the two. On the one hand is the American/start up/self-help trend of going out and getting lots of success, and on the oth
