I seen the benchmarks with it on and off.... and.. sometimes you cant tell its off, all with the margin of error. More than likely, they are just going to perm turn it off. There will be no difference in performance.

FreeBSD is already 1000x better code quality than linux. Linux still has WONT FIX kernel bugs, WONT FIX bugs do not exist in freebsd that are userland based, they fix both kernel and userland.

I would buy a modern , fully supported , freebsd laptop in a heart beat, 11th gen cpu or ryzen 4800 / 5900hx... However its a pain to find one fully compatible.

go split / layer keyboard, and you will change your mind. I will never go back to a num pad, cause it would mean the loss of layers and a 60% TKL. Until you experience it, you will not have the experience. Either UHK v2 or Dygma Raise

asus zephryus is a better buy, as much I would love to purchase the system76. Core of it, is it at least 20% higher margins. The Ryzen 5000 is out, I highly recommend either going for Asus Zephryus or wait for lenovo's mobile 5000 AMD
