Brilliant. Double up-vote (if I could) on Musashi's Book of Five Rings.

Thanks. Someone recommended the second book to me before - I mistakenly read "Ender's Shadow" and was mildly disappointed. Will be sure to pick up "Speaker" on your suggestion.

All excellent suggestions. Altho I am unfamiliar w/ Body Language I will check it out. Just working through the Carnegie book now. Also, I believe Code Complete is by Steve McConnnell.

Doesn't seem to be working correctly on my browser then (ff 2, XP). Commenters do not always load correctly and sometimes requires clicking back into one of the links. In the end, I'm not sure I'm seeing what you are seeing.

Whatever the definition of 'social network' I don't think it should include facebook apps and video sites.

Fascinating. Were the THI students segregated from the rest of everyone? Sounds like you enjoyed it? Any criticisms? I suppose it doesn't surprise me that a conservative Christian would offer a Western classics program. Still I am sur

It is always good to be challenged with the 'we are in a bubble' postings simply because a bubble can't happen so long as people are willing and able to practically evaluate the functionality of their own technologies. At least, that's wha

Speaking from someone who attended one, it is very easy to go to an Ivy League school and not excel simply because you (and everyone else there) are assumed to excel because you attend one. As a point of a comparison take China. China's

Probably not a very good one - but what do I know I didn't take the course. Btw, I've heard from folks that flip houses that at least some of the workshops are legit.

I once considered taking an $899 course on currency trading from FXCM.com, so there must be at least some people who think they can teach it and others willing to pay to learn. Also, with other i-banking specialties you need a larger suppl

Natural language does not have to be ambiguous. Numerous scholastic movements from Plato's Academy to the Confucians have attempted to enable us to speak with greater precision.

Fair enough. My skepticism was directed towards 'World Culture' classes that don't teach anything about the world and the stereotypical American that can't find his own country on a map. I doubt there was anything fishy about Dr. Shultz's

Wow, movies on the Wild West are definitely what kids from Western Pennsylvania need to be learning about in a "World Cultures" class. What else did you watch? Riddle me skeptical.

I don't think I think a core critique of 37S should be because they are 'opinionated,' but rather because they are spread too thin. Would be better to focus on fewer webapps and respond better to customer interest. I'm sure I'm not alone
