Agents don't click through or interact with ads or get influenced by things like lightning deals, snap promotions, "others who bought X bought Y" and such the same way a human does. This is likely a large portion of the reaso

Cursor never added Astra to its consumer subscription plans. And it's likely exactly because of this announcement. Why would they add support for a model they would have to remove shortly after?

The point of Cursor Bench is to show how models perform in Cursor. If 99% of their users won't be able to access a model unless they go out of their way to include setup an API key for it (which would be insanely expensive with Astra),

To be fair, I wish the whole world was much "worse" at warfare in the same way as they are. We'd probably be a much happier world overall. Or at the very least less destructive.

I tend to agree that when used correctly, a surveillance system like this could have benefits at a societal level. The problem is the many stories we already have of misuses of this equipment, showing that people in power are not mentally c

If someone is genuinely afraid of this, they wouldn't IPO in the first place. All the talk in the article about commercial incentives means nothing when the company plans to IPO and become beholden to investors.

Your access to a digital product you have "purchased" should not be tied to the continued existence of the store you also bought it from. Similar to physical products. If I bought a game at GameStop we aren't required to cont

I'm not an expert but I agree with your statement on the lower reasoning levels. Lots of models seem to just allow the model to "bloatmax" tokens in order to get bumps at high/max reasoning levels. Many of the max reason
