I managed to turn it off. But forgot the details. Maybe it was the “RUXIM” binary? I think I unchecked the executable flag for that .exe, or I removed it from the task scheduler. Anyways, it is possible!

Yeah, I am also confused they didn’t include a screenshot (or photo in this case). It’s the first thing you’ll want to see for such a project.

When I bought my Bose QC ten years ago, I tried a lot of brands and found Bose to have the most pleasant sound, very clear/neutral. I guess it’s personal taste.

Sure, but still, why blame (only) the browser?

You shouldn’t blame it on the browsers that certain websites are malicious.

The comment didn’t claim that types are a stand in for tests either! IMO, they are orthogonal.

I do my commute with my bicycle. Very common in the Netherlands. For holidays, we did a cycling holiday with our children. They loved it! I don’t at all feel like an outlier, many friends do similar things.

Of those things you mention, I only take showers (but not even everyday). But maybe I’m an outlier.

There is not. It uses Boa, a JavaScript engine in Rust. So I’m not sure what the benefit really is compared to Node (a JavaScript engine in c++).

I’ve been using the app ImageOptim for this use case (a stand-alone app, not something in the browser). Can recommend!

As opposed to unlimited exposure. There are also many adults that spend several hours per day on social media. It’s not good for society.

> Very useful pattern but I don't believe it has a name. This is an instance of “use the right data structure for the job”. To me it has little to do with architectural design (where design patterns live), but it has to do with algo

You should print them ;-). But yeah, I’m also old school in that I make directories for each album. I used MacOS photos before, but it’s terrible when you change systems (which eventually will happen).

“Easily verifiable”… Not really, you have to simulate 133_076_755_768 steps. Sure it’s doable. But if the AI suggests a thousands patterns, then it will be useless.

Yes. Because sometimes even the fundamental sign-in is through Microsoft. Word and excel are not the difficult part. Mail, calendars, management, storage, security measures, etc are hard.

I specifically like md, because I will always be able to open it and modify, even if the original app no longer exists. I use obsidian without any extensions. I must admit that I don’t archive things like exercise activity. So maybe the sim
