What's considered "a different race" has changed over the years and the classifications we have today is mostly along social and political boundaries. Before WWII, Polish natives were often seen as of a different race, today

An arbitrary direction takes too many bits to encode, rather than a few set predicted directions. Reminder that you don't have to nail the prediction exactly, but choose a prediction that gives you the lowest residue error. So you need

Opus with good settings is fine. I seriously doubt you could tell the difference between lossless and Opus with a blind ABX test. Do it (you can do it at home!) and get back to me. What's often far more noticeable is all the ways that

Yeah. We should build lots of enhanced roads. Add in automatic signaling so that the cars know all of the intersections and crossings. Oh, and let's have some bars that come down so that pedestrians don't walk around the path of t

Qualcomm already tried a custom ARM chip and failed at it. That was Krait. The "secret sauce" behind the M1 is that it's actually more expensive than a similarly powerful Intel chip, and far, far more expensive than a typical

I've never found this to be a useful difference in practice. Also, JavaScript really doesn't use it correctly to begin with. Arrays are a mess. Like the poster below, I usually cast to one of them, except I cast to null.

Since it's coarse as the BSP, you won't lose objects behind you. The BSP data structure doesn't take into account the camera's looking direction, just the camera's position. Thus, it includes every object visible fr

Yes, I know about what the IETF considers a "public Internet address", but it's sort of ill-defined for a lot of standard network topologies. NAT is a technique, not an explicit protocol. The RFCs simply cover the technique a

Correct. An SDF is basically an acceleration structure for an "omnidirectional" raycast. A "sphere-cast", if you will. If you are extra careful, you can also approximate a cone trace. Unreal Engine 4 has used it as a way
