Does anyone know if Education or Music is a bigger App Store category? I have an app that could fit into both, but went with Music. I'm curious if Education would be a better fit.

I'd e-mail users when new review is added. This way users know when to come back to the site and will make it more engaging.

This is a cool idea. After watching notch I'd love to be able to watch how other developers work.

As a new Objective-C programmer, I recently ran into the global state problem with an iPhone game I'm working on. I needed some settings that could be accessed/changed from many different classes. I was told the AppDelegate isn't the right

My problem with lists is it acts as a separate group rather than a filter. I want to see everyone's posts who is in a list. Instead I only see posts that have been specifically shared with a list. With circles, it automatically filters my s

I think m0nastic is right. I use some of the apps you mention, but also use Rdio and RunKeeper on a daily basis. Those both materially affect the enjoyment of my phone. You certainly have a point, most apps are downloaded then never used. B

Both LastPass and 1Password failed to save some generated passwords for me, causing too many trips to forgot password. LastPass would sometimes post to the wrong login form. 1Password got confused a couple of times between 'Logins' and 'Acc

A slight tangent... I recently looked into password managers myself after the MtGox leak. I tried 1Password and LastPass. While both do what they say--I found them cumbersome to use. I settled on a scheme like this: E-mail: Very strong, com

I just got this notice. Glad to see Google being proactive here. I was a little worried when my application-specific passwords stopped working--but relieved when I saw it was Google.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've thought a lot about this and have some experience building domain tools. The truth is nobody ever purchases domains through the app. You need massive volume (like advertising) to make this model work--it's

Yea that's currently what we do, we don't go through any specific registrar right now. I may need to adjust this in the future, so that's something good to keep in mind, thanks.

Thanks, load was over 100 which makes it extremely slow to fix. I've tweaked some settings to try and handle the load better (250K domains checked in 2 hours was a little more than I expected).

Thanks for the feedback. I'll work on adding more registrars, this is planned. The site is slower than normal right now due to increased load, but should return to normal after the HN spike. If not I'll more workers. My goal is that you sho

Also try to find "heat map" of user's mouse activities(hover) or click ratio. Try to give rating for those available domains for yourself and prioritize them based on it. I had thought of clicks, but not hover ratio--that's pretty int

Thanks. I am caching domain results for a small period of time, so this does help with some of the speed/load. The site may be a little slower than normal right now because of HN traffic, but I'm working on keeping it going. Thanks for your
