Agreed, not a bailout as this is the purpose of the insurance scheme. If someone gave me 10-to-1 odds that actually there will be no shortfall associated with this action I would happily take that bet. Shareholders will be wiped out but SVB

In the Prairies you could put a lot of people on farmland and it wouldn't subtract very much productive capacity and would accommodate a lot of people. A square mile is roughly 800mt of grain give or take most years on prime farmland..
