Simone Biles is an athletic miracle. Just like Serena Williams (won a tennis tournament while pregnant), Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt, Eliud Kipchoge, etc.

Setup is very smooth. I'm impressed how well this integrates with my macOS. Also a bit suspicious, but unless/until there's real evidence, honestly I think it's just because of VS funding + how well the setup / inte

tbh the sound quality is not the best. Although it is a lot better (especially bass) if you wear earplugs or you're in a quiet area. It's the comfort + durability + awareness + good price + still decent sound quality imo, which ma

my iPhone 6S+ Bluetooth works well with the headphones. Although it has a different problem, it's very bulky when I run. I'm looking into getting a new watch, so maybe I'll get one that can play bluetooth audio to fix the bul

The App store top charts are mostly broken. The iOS top free / paid games are a mix of old games (like Geometry Dash and BTD5) and absolute garbage (see https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rob-master-3d/id15611

I just get basic CSV silicone earplugs. Nothing special, but they work surprisingly well and only cost $10. Foam earplugs are supposed to me more effective, but apparently harder to wear and sometimes less comfortable.

I had AKG headphones. I noticed a difference when noise cancellation was on, but there was a weird humming sound and they didn't work very well for me. Also, they're very bulky and you can't wear them while sleeping. > Wit

Material goods: Ear plugs (silicone). Don't waste your money on noise-cancelling headphones, I have $200 ones and they don't compare to simple ear plugs. If you live in a moderately noisy area and you want peace and quiet, get the

Ok, maybe not 10 years. But look at WebGL2. From wikipedia: > Development of the WebGL 2 specification started in 2013 with final in January 2017 Moreover, WebGL2 support was only added to Edge since January 2020, and as of now it's

Idk if WebGPU will ever be fully supported by enough browsers to be viable for the web. Even if it is eventually supported people are saying it will take 10+ years. I do think WebGPU can be a great cross-platform compute shader framework o

One potential solution: - During a session, the first time rust-toolchain encounters a proc macro it must run to analyze, it will first prompt the user and warn them. - If the user accepts the prompt, rust-toolchain will freely run any proc

I don't necessarily doubt the author, but how do you chronically deprive your brain of glucose? Afaik you would get glucose back whenever you ate anything. Unless you were doing keto, but then your body and brain run on ketones. And if

I tried LMMS (an open-source DAW) and it was really hard to use. Then I tried Reaper and after bit of a learning curve, it feels much very natural. You can do almost anything and (albeit with the learning curve) simple actions are still sim

My take on this: Red and blue functions, and async / await, are a good thing when implemented well. It's much better than implicit every function can be async (e.g. python's gevent). Because it 1) makes it clear what is and i

How does Apple even solve this problem? On one hand, they're already having trouble with legitimate developers getting apps on the store (or at least they used to). On the other hand, there are tons of low-quality and scam apps. I agre
