I would say sometimes data needs to be rejected as invalid. I don't know the exact scenario here, but you'll never be able to know if a street number/name alone is unique as almost any street will have dozens or more matches

I can't help but think LLM is the wrong tool for the job here. There are many address validation and standardization services, including databases you can get straight from USPS. Those services will give you real and consistent answers

My calculator has never given me a wrong answer, so I trust and use it. Every time I have used ChatGPT to solve a coding problem it has had missed important edge cases or been flat out wrong. I find most tasks significantly faster to do mys

Is this possibly to make sure they are making money as more people turn to solar? By making a larger portion of your bill a fixed fee, they will make more from those customers despite them buying less electricity.

My F-Droid would not auto-update, attempting to manually get the update through the app refused to load at all, and downloading from their homepage gave me an old version. I had to download the specific version directly from their package p

After clicking "Maybe Later" I get a "Don't Ask Again" option after that, so it's possible, but harder than it should be. This is definitely bad practice. I don't feel like this should be enabled by defaul

With the caveat being I know nothing about them, is a service like Cultivate ( https://www.wecultivate.us ) a good alternative? Are there any others? I went searching around for options after this change and the things I like seei

To be fair, they are comparing a best case scenario email in the current UI to a worst case email in the new UI. Multi-line subject, multi-account identifier, tags, external images. So it looks to me like there's actually higher inform

Not as satisfying as I had hoped: > Question: What is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything? > Answer: The Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything is a phrase used by Stephen Hawking

The future is here! I know of at least one company, Orbit Fab, who already has signed contracts for their in-orbit refueling service. It's a bit early to see how successful or profitable this will be though.

Correct. And Alma Cogan is dead, but being Alma Cogan is not equivalent to being dead. They have other properties that differ. This article claims the two are equivalent.

I wish Nissan would step up their charging (and range) game. I get that it's not a long-range car, but being capped at 100kW fast charging means you'll never want to take the leaf further than a single charge can take it. Just imp

The 20% take is not per sale. It is per whatever your monthly charge is for selling your app. For example, if I make an app that manages your product data on Shopify and BigCommerce for $100 per month. Shopify forces me to pay them $20, and
