If they actually spent as much time as they claim hiring great people, you'd think a few of them would actually stick around on a project long enough to ship it.

Agreed. It's easy to plan around and measure the potential business impact of no one. It's challenging to do the same with a low performing or otherwise inconsistent employee.

Lol, it's nice to find like-minded people out there. While my initial post commented on electronic music in particular, I feel the need to re-iterate my point with respect to other genres. I'm a huge fan of Romantic-era piano (C

Brings back some memories. I remember macroing my magic resist up to 100. In the high 90s you'd have to flamestrike yourself hundreds of times for a point. It was really hard to nail the timing of the macro because on a bad die roll

What type of games are we talking about here though? Removing the engineers from the loop potentially allows for a lot of rapid prototyping, but probably not a lot of shipping at perf on cross-gen console and PC architecture.

Our goldendoodle sounds very similar to this. She's great at "go see XYZ" or "go get ABC", knows all the party tricks, and will play fetch endlessly without ever wandering off no matter how far I throw the ball. If
