It looks like a start to a remake of the visualization plugin for Winamp, Milkdrop2. Apparently opensource now. https://sourceforge.net/projects/milkdrop2/ There's many many presets/scripts made for it.

I started in 2001, with some autocad, 3ds r4 and 3ds Max experience, I struggled with the blender interface for many hours over a year or two. It was not designed to be easily learned, but the ui is fast to use once you learn it. One hand

Yes, Cinema 4d has a reputation for being easy to use, I may give it a shot. I started with 3ds r4, then 3ds Max r2, blender, lightwave, maya. I've stuck with blender the most, partially because the ui is fast to use for me. It was no

Said from a throwaway account? It's likely possible to figure out your identity from what, when, and where you post online publicly... Especially by someone that has the resources to collect and data mine much of what is posted. Would

I just started to dive into FreeCAD as an Inventor alternative. (Are you talking about pre-Blender 2.5? If so, I agree. It was a challenge going from 3ds r4 and 3ds Max 2... Had to memorize hot keys and get used to a tile based layout. Bu

Yes. The editing/condensing the audio and text was part of the studying for me though. It made the otherwise one-way-brain-dump class a bit tactile. Then being able to review everything quickly was helpful too.

Yes, great point. I did ask permission before the class. I was not allowed to offer the recordings to everyone, and I took them down after the class.

Also, I think it helps that I'm writing/reading/editing and listening. multi-sensory. Perhaps it could be better by adding video, smelling, tasting, and feeling... :) But no, just capturing the exact words, and being able to

It took a few minutes to process it in Audacity- more the first time while I figured it out. - Select a pause in the recording. - Effect -> Noise removal, get noise profile - Select everything. - Effect -> Noise removal - Effect ->

I can see the correlation to student performance, comparing typing on a full laptop with a big bright screen and distractions VS a blank sheet... However, at least for some subjects, I think note taking with technology can be perfectly accu

It all depends on you, what you're selling, how much time you want to spin your wheels trying to make it perfect without actually selling anything... Perhaps do a bit more research then just do it, whatever is most comfortable to you?

It takes a investment to learn for sure, but that has drastically improved over the years. Now you can hit space and search for commands, and most everything is findable in menus, has good tooltips that lists hotkeys...

When did you use it last? Did you watch any video tutorials? What 3d apps do you like? When I started about 15 years ago, Blender was much less intuitive and there was little tutorials and help. It helped that I used 3ds r4, 3ds Max, Auto

Handy. In case this is useful to others: I have to use Windows 7 at work. I recently found bug.n, a flexible tiling window manager made with AutoHotkey. https://github.com/fuhsjr00/bug.n

I have older family that are winows solitaire addicts. The windows 8 options were just bad: Huge fullscreen only, sounds, fancy menus you have to navigate first... I copied sol.exe and cards.dll from their retired XP machine. Works great,

Any changing value that is not a perfect progression can be converted into sound. If you can measure it and it's changing rates, you can transform it into the human audible range. Edit: It would likely be more interesting to listen to
