No ACH was involved, just cards (once with a credit card, once with a debit card and the same thing happened both times).

I would agree that it's frowned upon (if only from a liability standpoint) but at the same time it's borderline silly. Between names and looking at LinkedIn, it's not difficult 99% of the time to figure out if you're loo
